Tēnā koutou katoa
Kei te harikoa a Make/Shift Spaces me te Kanihera o Whakatū kia tautoko ana i
Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Kia kaha te reo Māori!

Greetings
Make/Shift Spaces and Nelson City Council are pleased to support Māori Language Week. We hope you give te reo Māori a go!

In 2019, 2020 and 2021 MakeShift Spaces and Nelson City Council have worked together to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. The 2021 messaging near Elma Turner Library is still there for 2022. It was originally along Halifax Street (13 Sept – 15 Oct 2021), and then moved to opposite external walls of the Library (20 Dec 2021), so that Kia Kaha Te Reo Māori now looks over Riverside Pop-Up Park, and the pronunciation guides are on the wall facing onto the Library carpark. Ka rawe!
