Nelson Ball Op-Shop

Once again, all five highschools in Nelson, Stoke and Richmond have banded together through their Enviro Clubs to present the Nelson Ball Op-Shop!

Student representatives from Waimea College, Garin College, Nayland College, Nelson College and Nelson College for Girls are working with a number of op shops to present a selection of dresses, suits, and accessories ahead of the annual School Ball season.

This initiative aims to reduce costs for students attending their school balls as well as encouraging reusing and repurposing clothes to reduce landfills. 

This year, all proceeds will go to Kai Rescue.

20 June – 4 July 2026
– Weekdays 3.30-5.30PM
– Saturday 10.30-3.00PM
– Sunday 1.00-3.00PM

Donations:
The Nelson Ball Op-Shop is accepting donations – drop at to any of the highschools (main office), and to Nelson City Council.
