Helena has two artworks featured in ArtDoors – The Neighbourhood and High Seas, both at Kate Bradley & Associates Real Estate Specialists.
We are delighted with the two installations on our building.
“The Neighbourhood” really suits our real estate business and is a fantastic profile for us. And “High Seas” is in keeping with the whole Nelson aspect of sailing and promoting our beautiful Nelson lifestyle.
We are very proud of our new installations and want to thank everyone involved.
Kate Bradley
In her rural studio nestled in the rolling hills of the Moutere, Helena is inspired by colour, texture and her natural environment. She uses colour and mixed media elements to create bold artworks full of depth and luminosity.
More recently in her career, Helena began using natural beeswax and damar resin. These materials are melted together to form a fluid painting medium that requires heat to fuse each layer to the one laid down before. She is passionate about the process, which is the real prize for her practice.
Helena is an exhibiting member of the Nelson Suter Art Society. Her work is available from MacMillan’s Sculptures and Gallery in Upper Moutere, Wall to Wall Art Gallery in Nelson, and Church House Gallery in Motueka, as well as from her studio.
