It was a wonderful occasion at the third Shared Communities Pop-Up Multicultural Market, on Saturday 18 October, from 3.30-8.00pm at the top of Trafalgar St.
Spring Clean Whakatū Nelson threw its support behind the market because there’s no better way to celebrate a spring clean than for everyone to come together for great food, and wonderful music in an all-welcoming atmosphere.
The Market was a vibrant showcase of cultures from our migrant and former refugee communities.
– Live music, dance, and traditional performances.
– More than 20 stalls serving authentic foods from around the world.
– A selection of unique crafts and handmade treasures.
This family-friendly event was free and open to everyone.
The Pop-ip Multicultural Market was organised by Shared Communities, with support from Nelson City Council and Make/Shift Spaces.
