Alice Snow is an artist from and based in Nelson. For the past decade, she has created colourful and surreal paintings full time in her home studio. Her work, often described as both cute and creepy, usually features anthropomorphic creatures, sultry girls, imaginary insects and everything cheeky.

Mushrooms IV is a part of Alice’s 2024 Valentine’s Day collection, showcasing a twist on nature through love-filled lenses.

My art is very colourful, very playful, very cheeky, sometimes inappropriate, and a little bit strange!

Some pieces have a story, but I’m mostly inspired by what I see, and by what I think is fun.
