Originally from Colombia, David George Garcia came to New Zealand for a better opportunity.
David first became involved with Make/Shift Spaces with the Nile St ArtWall, helping to paint the many wooden shapes.
For me art is a way to escape reality have fun and just relax.
The painting I made represents the music and instruments of my culture and how it makes people feel.
I made it colourful so it represents how music is full of energy and so enjoyable.
