Send us your best drawings of a Nelson taxi!

Nelson Taxis is working with Make/Shift Spaces to give the area around the taxi hub on Selwyn Place a fresh new look ahead of the glorious summer season.

We think it would look awesome to show some artwork by our youngest customers, and so we’re inviting you to share your best drawings of a Nelson taxi!

If you are 12 years of age or younger and live in Whakatū Nelson, we would love you to create a drawing inspired by our white and blue taxis.

An A4 is just fine, and you can use any drawing or painting style. Artworks should be handed in before 4th October 2024. The best drawings will be exhibited and go in the draw to win art materials, movie vouchers and taxi vouchers.

– Drop your drawing into Nelson Taxi depot at 27 Selwyn Place, Nelson, open 7:30am-3:30pm
– Give it to your friendly taxi driver, or
– Pop it into the post to Arts Council Nelson, PO Box 566, Nelson 7040

This is a joint project by Make/Shift Spaces, Arts Council Nelson, and Nelson City Taxis.
