ArtDoors Whakatū/Nelson

ArtDoors Whakatū/Nelson is an aspirational project that aims to transform around 100 of the city’s doors over a two-year period.

This project will connect business and property owners with local makers and creators whose artwork will be used to transform both tired or plain-looking doors and windows, adding a splash of colour and optimism to our city streets.

Building on the already highly successful Nelson City Centre ArtWalk, this project will bring foot traffic of locals and visitors who may walk around the city, using a digital guide or brochure.

The project will showcase the talented artists that reside in our city and region.

If you are an artist and would like your work to be considered for this project please complete the artist registration form or contact Tracy Allan at [email protected] or Lloyd Harwood at [email protected] for more information.
