In year 2020, I was doing an online art foundation course through The Learning Connexion. I had always scribbled, made marks and attended life drawing classes. The Learning Connexion opened my eyes to the world of colour and expression, and the freedom to be bold and just to be me.

My painting Jack the lad dreamt of being a gangster… is about all of us at some time in our lives, dreaming about being somebody else.
